In 1975, Jim Bridwell, John Long, and Billy Westbay achieved the first-ever one-day ascent of The Nose on El Capitan — a legendary milestone in rock climbing.
Long led mostly free to Boot Flake, Westbay pushed through the mixed middle pitches to Camp 5, and Bridwell nailed through the final section to the summit. Their climb took approximately 16 hours, redefining what was possible on big walls and inspiring generations of Yosemite climbers.
Printed on premium archival paper. Ships rolled in a protective tube.
